GEOELEC produced an action plan towards more geothermal electricity generation in Europe, with the objective of doubling the installed geothermal power capacity in Europe by 2020. The project also looked at concrete actions to reach these objectives, for example conditions for financial feasibility, regulatory frameworks, and public acceptance.

The results of the GeoElec project and resources about Geothermal Electricity can be found in the library section of the website. Information sorted by target group can be found by clicking on the buttons to the right.
